Ash was a mutant who joined the Brotherhood of Mutants. A member of the Omegas, Ash fought at the Battle of Alcatraz. After the battle, he was no longer considered a Brotherhood member.

Ash had a tough dense organic skin of solidified molten rock. He also had the ability to breathe out volcanic ash in order to asphyxiate his enemies.
